By interacting with GrumpyGillsFungi.com and/or making a purchase you hereby agree to the terms set in the Terms of Service.

Store Intention Statement:

Grumpy Gills Fungi intends to facilitate education around the fungi kingdom, as reflected in our diverse product offerings. We do not condone, entertain, or allow for illegal or unintended use of our products. We offer items that are commonly found within and around the mycology and microscopy hobby.

Microscopy and Mycology have long intersected due to the microscopic nature of research samples within the fungi kingdom. We aim only to provide items in which customers can use in a lawful and educational way. We do not condone, entertain, or allow for illegal or unintended us of our products.

Microscopy Terms:

Spores Explicit Use Statement: Psilocybe Genera spores are intended and sold for microscopy use, collection, novelty, and art purposes. We will not respond to inquiries suggesting cultivation of active spores. Any mention or assumed hint of cultivation after placing an order will result in your order being voided, canceled, or refunded. We do not condone the illegal use of our products.

Microscopy photography is a large part of what we do. All pictures you see are owned by Grumpy Gills Fungi and are not to be used without prior authorization.

We do not ship Psilocybe Genera Spores to CA, ID, GA. No exceptions. Do not ask.

If an order is placed to a restricted state it will be canceled without notice. Unsolicited payments received from orders to restricted states will be not be refunded. No exceptions.

We reserve the right to no longer do business with any customer, at any time, and for any reason without notice.

Any educational material found on grumpygillsfungi.com is intended only as such.

Shipping:

We will ship your order as fast as we can, this is usually within 5-10 business days. Although we are known for our spore quality throughout the world, it’s still just a small-batch operation. Due to increasing order volume, it is possible for your order to be delayed longer than our usual shipping time during peak holidays or busy periods. Your order will be shipped, we promise. If your order is delayed, it’s likely because we have to make a fresh batch of what you ordered. Rest assured, your batches are likely as fresh as your order. If your order is delayed in shipping, please contact the carrier, not us.

All standard orders ship via tracked USPS First Class. You also will have the option to upgrade to USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, or UPS 2nd Day air. Shipping option does not include processing time and may take longer than the “2 day” as promised with that service.

Canadian customers have two forms of shipping offered – Standard International First Class & Priority Mail International. Australian customers have only one Priority Mail option.

We cannot ship bulky or large items to Canada or Australia.

If you are ordering from outside the United States, please be sure to remember we take no responsibility if customs seizes or destroys your package. We cannot control this and will not offer refunds or discounted replacements. Please order at your own risk.

We do NOT ship cubensis samples to California, Idaho, or Georgia. It is illegal to import these spores into the state.

Failed Deliveries and Incorrect Shipping Info:

If you enter the incorrect shipping address and fail to notify us before being shipped out, you must replace your order. We do not reship returned orders free of charge. If you fail to enter the correct address, that is not something we have the power to know. We also have this policy because we do not reship items that have been returned to us. Returned packages are often beaten up and damaged. If you are able to notify us prior to shipment we will gladly change the address for you without hassle. Please double-check when placing your order!

If your package does not arrive but the tracking number says delivered please follow these steps as set forth by our carriers:

  1. Check with anyone in your household to see if the package is somewhere you were not expecting.
  2. Check with any neighbors to see if the package landed with them.
  3. Contact your local post office or UPS to let them know of the failed delivery. The carriers have GPS tracking for all package scans and this information is very helpful in verifying failed deliveries or verifying successful deliveries.

We reserve the right to contact the carrier regarding your order if you are reporting a failed delivery to us.

Failed deliveries are not replaced unless the carrier can confirm the failed delivery. Reship costs will be determined on a case-by-case basis. We are not obligated to reship due to failed delivery and will be decided at the sole discretion of Grumpy Gills Fungi.

Orders that are reported to be arriving late or delayed will not be considered for reshipment until tracking status has not updated for 10 business days.

Payments:

Payments must be made in a timely manner. If you violate our terms and submit payment for an order being sent to California, Idaho, or Georgia it will not be automatically refunded. It is illegal to import spores to those states.

CASHAPP: We expect CashApp transactions to be paid at the time of order with the correct order number in the notes.

EMAILED INVOICE: It may take us a small amount of time to send you an emailed invoice if that option is selected. We expect the invoice be paid within 12 hours of receipt so that we can ship your order ASAP. Thank you.

Crypto: We now accept Cryptocurrency. The instructions are listed at checkout. Please screenshot your payment receipt for your records. If we cannot find your payment we will ask you for this receipt.

REFUND & REPLACEMENT POLICY:

We offer a 7 day from delivery guarantee that your spore samples will be free from visible degradation. We do not offer refunds, however we will send you a replacement for the cost of shipping in the event you can provide microscopy photo evidence of spore degradation or foreign objects in the solution. Delivery date reflects date delivered in the carrier tracking page.

We do not offer replacements where there is hinting or direct mention of cultivation or spore germination. We do not condone our product for uses other than microscopy, art, and collectively related purposes. You will be ignored and barred from future orders if this occurs.

In order to provide you with products and services requested, we may collect personally identifiable information that you voluntarily submit to us during checkout or when you contact us, such as your: 

  • First and Last Name
  • Shipping & Billing Address
  • E-mail Address Provided
  • Phone Number Provided
  • Social Media Handle

GRUMPYGILLSFUNGI.COM may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products and services, or to contact you directly for any reason we feel necessary.

We do not share your information to third parties other than to provide you with our products and services requested. This may include but is not limited to payment processors and employees or independent contractors of GRUMPYGILLSFUNGI.COM.

GRUMPYGILLSFUNGI.COM may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on GRUMPYGILLSFUNGI.COM the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of GRUMPYGILLSFUNGI.COM; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of GRUMPYGILLSFUNGI.COM, or the public.
